Medical Interventions

 

Some medical Interventions that occur during the course of labor are medically necessary; however there are cases in which women have a variety of options to solve a particular problem.  Better Birth Austin encourages women to learn about the common procedures and the options they have if the need arises.  In this section are descriptions of the most common interventions used by hospitals during labor and alternative options to those procedures.
